FOURTH-GENERATION BELTONE HEARING CARE PRACTITIONER RECEIVES
CENTRAL REGIONAL EXCELLENCE AWARD
Dean Kent of Omaha, Neb., was named the winner of Beltone’s Central Regional Excellence Award. The award, presented to Kent at Beltone’s National Meeting in Chicago, honors dedicated individuals who consistently provide high levels of patient hearing care within their community.
“It is an honor to recognize Dean Kent for his commitment to his patients,” said Beltone President Todd Murray. “He truly exemplifies what it means to enhance patient satisfaction by providing excellent hearing care.”
Kent is a fourth-generation Beltone business owner who is continuing his family’s 77-year hearing care legacy. He operates several offices and service centers across eastern Nebraska, western Iowa and eastern South Dakota.
“We have 11 offices and one philosophy,” said Kent. “At each location, our patients can be assured of the same individual service my family has been providing since 1938.”
Kent is a member of several community and hearing organizations, including the Lions Club, the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the Nebraska Hearing Aid Society. He also supports local youth soccer and baseball programs.
In addition to the award presented to Kent, Beltone presented performance awards to other top hearing care practitioners from its offices internationally and throughout Canada and the U.S. during the annual meeting.
